Božinović bleibt!

Josip Božinović verlängert beim TSV Weilimdorf. Der 35-jährige Pivot wird damit bereits seine sechste Saison für das Team aus Stuttgart bestreiten. Božinović kam erstmalige in der Meistersaison 2018/19 zum Einsatz und holte mit dem TSV Weilimdorf zwei Süddeutsche Meisterschaften und zwei Deutsche Meisterschaften an die Giebelstraße. Für den TSV wird er in dieser Saison auch zum dritten Mal international zu sehen sein.

„Ich freue mich auf weitere Jahre in Weilimdorf. Der Verein ist mir sehr wichtig und auch ich werde versuchen, für den Verein eine wichtige Rolle spielen zu können. Ich möchte mich bei allen Verantwortlichen für das Vertrauen bedanken und freue mich auf die kommenden Aufgaben mit meinem Team“, so Božinović.

Vorstandsmitglied Daniel Nötzold begrüßt die Vertragsverlängerung mit Josip Božinović: „Joso ist ein fester Bestandteil des Teams. Wir freuen uns sehr, dass wir Ihn auch in Zukunft mit dem TSV-Wappen sehen werden. In den letzten Spielen hat er gezeigt, wie wichtig er für die Mannschaft ist, selbst wenn er verletzungsbedingt, nicht auf dem Feld stehen konnte. Diese Zeit wird bald vorbei sein und wir sind alle schon heiß darauf, ihn dann wieder am Ball zu sehen.“

Josip Božinović extends his contract with TSV Weilimdorf. The 35-year-old pivot will be entering his sixth season with the Stuttgart-based team. Božinović first joined the team during the championship season of 2018/19 and has since helped TSV Weilimdorf win two South German championships and two German championships. This season, he will also be competing internationally for the third time with TSV.

"I am looking forward to more years in Weilimdorf. The club is very important to me, and I will do my best to play a crucial role for the team. I want to thank all the officials for their trust and I am excited about the upcoming challenges with my team," said Božinović.

Board member Daniel Nötzold welcomed the contract extension with Josip Božinović: "Joso is an integral part of the team. We are very pleased that we will continue to see him wearing the TSV badge in the future. In the recent games, he has shown how important he is for the team, even when he was unable to play due to injury. This time will soon be over, and we are all eagerly looking forward to seeing him back on the field."
